Structured, varied ashtanga classes
Gemma greets everyone friendly before class. In her classes, she mostly teaches Ashtanga, which is more strength-focused. The rhythm of each class is well-structured: she starts with some stretching to warm up, and once we're warmed up, we move on to deeper leg stretches. She never brings notes to class. Each day, part of her routines remains consistent, while she adds variations in between. Towards the end, she always includes challenging moves like handstands, arm balances, crow pose, and wheel pose ~ all quite challenging for beginners. Working out with her leaves you feeling great, refreshed, and the rhythm is just perfect.

A good teacher can be judged by their return rate. The previous teachers I had rarely had students coming back, but Gemma is different. I think anyone who attends her class and has the time will definitely come again, because her classes leave you with so much to gain: her emotional support, the feeling of being valued, a more flexible and comfortable body, the challenge of difficult poses, progress in each class, and the excitement of not knowing what surprises she'll bring next. Discovering the power of ashtanga
Thank you for making me feel the power of Ashtanga. I really like it. Every time you have new poses and teaching methods, we find them really interesting. We look forward to each of your classes. It seems that with the new poses and teaching methods, we make great progress. Today, Tina thinks that the combination of Ashtanga and Hatha makes the body exercise thoroughly. Individual guidance and care
During class, she corrects students one by one for each pose instead of holding everyone up to wait for those who struggle. When it comes to more difficult poses, she encourages every student to try, helping them succeed and letting them feel a sense of achievement. The full set of exercises is tiring, but the rest period afterwards is incredibly satisfying. Sometimes during the rest, she gives us massages to help our bodies relax, which feels absolutely wonderful. She treats all students equally, making everyone feel valued ~ that's really important. After class, she makes a point to check in with students, chat with them, and take group photos, showing sincere care towards everyone.
